Dugarvon Trip
Subtitle: How's This for Stupid
November 11, 2005. That white stuff is snow. In the left backgroud, you can see the ranger station next to the bridge on the Russell and Swim Road. We began about 10 am. The upper part of the river was strewn with bolders. Lots of fun practising draw strokes at the prow. High water.

During this trip I was demoted to the front of the canoe. Changing of the guard. A road on the north side runs along this stretch of the Dungarvon and is visible from the river for at least half of the trip.

This was the down river view from a precipice on which was situated a very well appointed camp.

This is the up river view from the aforementioned camp. The sunshine appeared about 11 am.

This is the take out point on the power line about five km above the Furlong Bridge. A very pedestrian cruise.
